Glitched Text is a series of letterforms created through intentional error. Original letters are turned into images, saved in the webp format, and then altered by manually manipulating their binary data. Each letter can generate from 3,000 up to 50,000 variations, revealing new visual structures. Letters are usually stable symbols, but here, that system is disrupted to reconsider their range and possibilities. This experiment ultimately circles back to a basic question: what is a letter?

Is a deliberately broken letter still a letter, or does it become pure graphic form? By altering the inherent numeric data of each character, the letters were intentionally dismantled and then expanded into countless variations. From these hundreds and thousands of outcomes, a few were selected and presented here.
